Still, just about managing to ride 4 hours and finish my mid week ride off in the dark. Know exactly what you mean about peeing and drinking and eating gels, gotta practice out training, its not an option to do a few extra km's in the heat of race conditions!! Roads are darn rough here in New Zealand as well. You're dead right about peeing attracting cars. I once pulled over to a descrete spot by a gate with a padlock on it and mid flow an elderly lady pulls in with the key to open it. She was quite jolly about it all ;o) Sounds like a cracking ride.
